Hi Everyone...i am back after a long time...blogging kept going lower in my to do list for long time...but i managed to squeeze in some time to make this card..it is birthday card for Karuna..she was the first follower on my blog and also got a warm welcome to blogland within a week of joining when I won her blog candy..thank you so much Karuna :)

Happy Friendship Day...i know its a bit late...but better late than never...Tejal and Ash from ICR had come up with this super cool idea of Secret Buddy Swap for friendship day..I was curiously waiting for my swap..all excited like small kid..here are the beautiful cards and bookmarks i received from my amazingly talented blogger friends

I have been not crafting much these days due to ill health and hectic work schedule, but didn't want to miss the latest ICRC6 Pink Monochrome Challenge using the tic tac toe grid. Supplies Embossed Paper :I have used dry embossing techinque, where in used my parchment tools to emboss swirls on to the paper as i dont own any embossed papers or embossing machines. Quilling Paper Ribbons, Flower & Button from my stash.

Moment I think of something Dhin Chak, first thing that comes to my mind is orange..so here it is .. my another first attempt ..this time it is a stitching card using the usual embriodery threads,handmade spiral rose and since i dont own any bright color inks yet , I have used my sketchpens to give the distress ink effect, far from original but i had to make the best out of what I have at the moment.
Finally after a hectic week at work ..got some time to show you all the candy I received from Karuna.Was entusiastic like a small kid opening birthday presents...perfect gift for a new crafter like me...thanks a lot Karuna..
